It demonstrates how education underpins nearly every single social and economic goal - from climate action and public health to economic recovery and innovation.

In the US, one in ten young people is not in school or not in work. Theirworld is building a network of Skills Friendly Cities across the United States by launching a Big Ideas, Bright Cities Challenge. This is where community organisations, city officials and business leaders can bring their big ideas to make their city skills friendly. The best ideas will be awarded and supported to become a reality.
